Our kitchen team, led by Head Chef Arron, takes great pride in crafting fresh, home-cooked meals that not only meet the nutritional requirements of residents but also bring a real sense of pleasure to every plate. From hearty traditional favourites to lighter, balanced options, every dish is made with care and attention to detail. We work closely with residents, listening to their feedback and adapting menus to reflect their tastes, ensuring that every meal is something to look forward to.
Beyond nutrition, mealtimes at Lark View provide an important social experience. Whether it’s enjoying a leisurely breakfast with friends, a themed cuisine evening, or a special Sunday roast, dining together brings our residents a sense of home and companionship. Our residents also have flexibility in where they choose to enjoy their meals. They can eat with friends in our communal dining room, in the comfort of their luxury bedrooms, in our exclusive private dining room with loved ones on special occasions or in our beautiful landscaped gardens, when the weather permits. Our team goes above and beyond to make these occasions special and create true connections with our residents.
The dedication and passion behind our dining experience have not gone unnoticed. We are incredibly proud to share that our Head Chef, Arron, has been selected as a finalist for our group's prestigious Chef of the Year award. Arron was nominated by the home for his unwavering commitment to residents, always putting their needs first and creating meals that not only nourish but truly delight. As part of this recognition, he has also received a ‘Passionate’ badge, celebrating his dedication to the home and wider team.
Next month, Arron will travel to Manchester for the awards ceremony, where his hard work and talent will be recognised alongside other outstanding professionals in the care sector. While we eagerly await the results, we already know that, to our residents and team, Arron is more than deserving of this honour.
