Delight As We Receive Our Very Own Minibus

Residents, relatives, and staff are all very much delighted with the recent arrival of our very own minibus, here at Lark View Care Home.

Having this minibus allows us to support our residents and their loved ones even more. The minibus provides them with a sense of freedom and independence, as they will be able to request use of the minibus for personal needs such as appointments and meet-ups with friends and family.

We are also very excited to have the minibus to enable us to provide residents with group outings and excursions, allowing them to explore the area of Canterbury and beyond. We plan to use our minibus for all sorts of trips, from visits to cafés and garden centres to leisurely days spent shopping and strolling in parks.

It is also an integral part of our person-centred approach to care, that we build relationships with those in our local community, so residents feel like valued members. Our minibus will help to ensure that we play an active part in our community and contribute to everyday life in Thanington.
