Lark View Care Home is Now Open
It has been a very special week here at Lark View Care Home in Thanington, as we officially opened our doors and welcomed the first of our residents.
With our balloon arch in place and glasses filled, our team celebrated the arrival of our first two residents, to who we extend our warmest welcome. With the support of their families, we helped them to unpack and settle into their new home.
Our care home has been thoughtfully designed and purpose-built to offer the very best in Residential Care, Nursing Care, Dementia Care, Respite Care & Palliative Care.
We are also proud to provide our residents with an all-inclusive, luxury lifestyle, in which they can continue their hobbies, pursue new interests, and meet like-minded individuals. Our residents and their loved ones are encouraged to fully benefit from the in-house facilities we have here, including private gardens, a cinema, and hair salon, and a treatment room.
Before making the move to Lark View Care Home, we welcome prospective residents and their loved ones to come in for a consultation with our Home Manager and care experts, as well as a tour of our home. During this time, we offer our professional advice and support in determining what the best care is for their individual needs.
Person-centred care is at the core of our approach here at Lark View Care home, and whilst its important to us that we meet our residents' medical needs, we also go above and beyond to learn about their personal likes and dislikes, traditions, and routines to ensure a smooth transition into our home, and to ensure that we can care for residents holistically.
We are absolutely delighted to have now opened our brand new, 64-bed care home in the local community of Thanington, just a 12-minute drive from the centre of Canterbury. We would like to thank our local neighbours and community who have been so supportive of us.
