Welcoming The Right Step Dance Company

This month we were delighted to welcome The Right Step Dance Company to Lark View Care Home, for some much-needed fun during this cold winter period.

It was our first time welcoming Right Step into our care home and it was an event that our residents very much enjoyed. Conducting a chair-based exercise class that was very well-attended by our residents.

Through this activity, residents were able to enjoy some exercise in a social environment which was both enriching and fun for all involved! Not only was this activity great fun, but it also helps to improve wellbeing, and physical and mental strength. With great benefits to cognitive function, whilst also creating a greater ability to carry out daily living activities and maintaining independence.

Our wonderful activities teams are leading the way by offering regular fun exercises for our residents which cater for all abilities. We're excited to say that we have booked The Right Step Dance Company to come back into Lark View over the coming weeks.
