Lark View Care Home provides exceptional living standards for those residing at our all-inclusive, luxury care home. With bedrooms and facilities spanning across three floors, it is our aim to cater to the many interests and hobbies of our residents with our purpose-built, first-class amenities.

We believe that people should be able to live a rich and fulfilled life, and in addition to our comprehensive care and exceptional facilities, our Activities Team ensures that every day is filled with diversity and choice, including an active and abundant social life. With the use of our very own minibus too, we are able to support our residents with a variety of trips and excursions in Canterbury and beyond.

Elegant En-suite Bedrooms

Our range of 64 elegantly designed bedrooms features en-suites, modern furnishings, flat-screen televisions, high-speed internet access, and modern call systems. Select bedrooms will also have direct access to the terrace, and we also have two Jack and Jill bedrooms that allow couples to live with one another either separately or together with their own lounge area. We encourage residents to decorate their bedrooms to tailor their surroundings with personal items to encourage maximum comfort and create a place they can call home.

Fine Dining

Food is one of life’s true pleasures, and our expert team of in-house chefs and wonderful kitchen team prepares the finest quality, handmade nutritious meals, ensuring that all preferences and dietary requirements are met and that residents’ favourites can be enjoyed time and time again. Our ground-floor dining room has floor-to-ceiling windows and opens directly onto the garden, overlooking the sunken garden which will also be enclosed by glass screening. Our home also features a private dining space, which is ideal for celebrating special occasions with family and friends.

Activities Programme

We have an outstanding team of committed Activities Coordinators at Lark View Care Home who are ready to provide new and exciting activities for all of our residents. Each month, residents are presented with a programme that is full of activities that are suited to all ages and abilities, from social events such as quizzes and games to sing-a-longs and visits to local attractions in and around Canterbury.

Landscaped Garden & Café

We have a landscaped garden that runs the whole length of the home and is south-facing which residents will be able to use at their leisure. Pathways make the whole garden accessible, and with a water feature, gazebo, patio, grass areas, and seating, residents will have ample outdoor space for reading a book, taking a stroll, and doing some light exercises. There will also be opportunities for residents to partake in outdoor activities as we have a boules court and wildflower beds, raised planters, a greenhouse, and potting shed for those who love gardening. Our garden also consists of outdoor dining furniture for the opportunity to dine outside during the warmer months as well as a Garden Café which has direct access to a patio and our sunken garden.

When residents are in need of a little quiet time, our Library Lounge is the perfect place for both relaxing and getting lost in a good book. We’re confident residents will find something to their liking among the shelves of our selection, including classics right through to contemporary novels.

Our home features its very own generously-sized salon, where our qualified hairdressers will provide a personalised experience for our residents who wish for their hair needs to be taken care of, or for those who would just like to sit back and enjoy a pamper. Included as part of our weekly fees, we highly encourage our residents to utilise this fantastic service. Having your hair restyled can make you feel like a whole new person, which is why we will go to great efforts to make each and every one of our residents feel pampered.
